Lok Sabha Elections 2014 promotions - seems to be very aggressive not only on ground level but also on Internet. Political drama is touching its Peak as Elections are reaching. Every Political party is looking to reach and woo the voter - via Local Rallies or Via Online Social Sites like Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.

Every Party recognizes the power of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter in the unfolding political drama, now it's time for mobile messaging Apps like Whatsapp and Blackberry Messenger which might turn out to be the real game-changer as Parties seek to peep in directly to the phones of voters.Unlike Social Sites - Whatsapp is very ease to reach as it does not require any profile creation on any portal.

Congress and BJP have started their campaigns on Whatsapp and are already contacting voters through their numbers - WithCongress (8398989898) and Mission 272+ (7820078200) respectively.
Not only for reaching to Voters - nearly all Parties are using this app for internal communication among Party Members. Politicians in Odisha, Delhi and Rajasthan are already using WhatsApp for their campaigns. Invites are being send out to ensure massive turnouts at rallies and even using the platform to poke fun at rivals.

Not Only Whatsapp – Blackberry Messenger (BBM) is also been used for Campaign. BBM has feature of Channels – there we can see the Channels of almost all National Parties. BBM being a secured platform – Users have to Join the Channel of parties to get their updates as on date Narender Modi channel has 1150+ Subscribers and that of AAP has around 700+
